New clients are selected carefully to maintain a high standard of service. The consultation process is critical to selection. A deposit of $50 is required to confirm and secure your appointment. No refund for failure to keep your appointment. Rescheduling is on a case-by-case basis.
Cooperation during your appointment is necessary for great results. Japanese Permanent Hair Straightening requires a skilled combination of techniques such as brush tension, processing equipment, temperatures of styling tools, water temperature and rinse time, visibility and reach of your hair, and more.
Refusal to cooperate or realization of chemical history having not been shared may result in the service being abruptly stopped to avoid damage. The full price of the service is still due.
Your appointment will require several hours with ample time to prepare for your service to begin upon your arrival. Please make appropriate arrangements to arrive on time or a few minutes early to ensure your appt doesn't impede upon other clients. It is greatly appreciated that clients agree to notify the salon by text as they anticipate a delay. Texting after your scheduled appointment is disrespectful. You will be charged for any time overage for failure to provide notice.
Michelle guarantees her work as long as true and thorough chemical history is provided during your consultation. Adjustments can be made on the day of your appointment as long as additional history is provided before any products are applied to your hair.
Michelle is cautious in her application and timing, so if any pattern remains, she will remove it at no additional cost as sometimes it may take a subsequent process to get your hair straight.

Feel free to video or take photos, this should be fun and exciting for you. However, please do not photograph or record any proprietary information or techniques. Recording Michelle is strictly prohibited. Thank you for respecting this policy.
Although we all love children, the salon suite is not a safe environment for them or the equipment. Most importantly, I need full focus on your hair as the results are dependent upon timing, implement tension, humidity control, and more. It is critical that I am not distracted or nervous. I respectfully ask that children under the age of 13 are not present during the service unless they are receiving a service. This includes children under the supervision of another adult.
